Cub Scouting builds a strong foundation that stays with a boy for his entire life. It is friendships forged in activities; bonds built in adventure; character built on achievements.
Pack 312 has been has been a fun place to start the Scouting adventure for hundreds of boys since it was founded in 1974. It’s the oldest Pack in the area, bringing together families from Apex and southwestern Cary, NC.
Meetings are held at the Scout Hut in Apex’s Jaycee Park. The whole Pack meets the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. while dens meet other Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Pack 312 thrives because of it's volunteers. We still need volunteers for these activities. Please join us in making the Pack fun for everybody! Send Chris Decker an email if you're interested!
Camping Committee: Jamal did a great job on the last Camping trip but really could use ongoing help. In the short term we could really use some help with organizing and executing the food activities for the Big Camping Trip.
Popcorn Committee: Debi Cauthen is in her last year of coordinating our Popcorn Sale and we really need 2-3 people to help her out and learn the process. This is our main fundraising event and we won’t be able to do a lot of the cool things we do without it.
Advancement Coordinator: Our current volunteer, Stacy Young, is in her last year and needs a replacement. This involves managing the awards for all den leaders, receiving their needs, and visiting the Scout Shop 1-2 times a month to purchase awards.
